NEW-CAR PPF FOR DULLES AND STERLING DELIVERIES
The dealer rows along Route 28 and Route 7 in Sterling and Dulles sell a bit of everything, from mainstream sedans and trucks to luxury brands and the Tesla delivery center on the Sterling side. They also share the roads with the airport's cargo trucks and the construction that never finishes along Route 28 and Route 606. A car delivered on Route 7 and driven home to Ashburn on Route 28 is behind a dump truck before the tank is half empty. Those are the chips we see on cars that waited a month, and the ones we prevent on cars that came the same week.
If you are collecting a new car in Sterling or Dulles this week, this page explains how to book the film for delivery week, how the drive from the dealer to our Chantilly shop works, how dealer protection add-ons differ from a specialist film install, and what each STEK DYNOshield package covers. We are about ten minutes south on Route 28 at 4215 Walney Rd, so a same-day install right after pickup is realistic here in a way it is not from farther away.
The dealer rows along Route 28 and Route 7 in Sterling and Dulles are about 10 minutes from our shop: take Route 28 south past the airport and turn off at Walney Road in Chantilly.
Why the front end
WHAT DULLES AND STERLING DEALERS DOES TO YOUR PAINT
Route 28 past the airport
Between Route 7 and I-66, Route 28 carries airport freight, construction haulers, and commuters at highway speed, with interchanges that have been under rebuild for years. It is the first road most Sterling deliveries take, and it chips a bumper fast.
Route 7 and the Toll Road
Leesburg Pike through Sterling is a wide commercial strip with gravel at every construction entrance, and the Toll Road is the fast way to Reston and Tysons. Both put the new hood and mirrors in the spray from the car ahead.
Loudoun's new neighborhoods
Brambleton, One Loudoun, and the subdivisions off Route 606 are still being built, which means trucks tracking mud and stone onto the roads you take home every night. Rockers and door edges catch what the bumper misses.
Fresh paint, no prep needed
A car that comes to us the day after delivery needs no correction; the paint is as clean as it will ever be. Film applied over it is invisible, and the self-healing top coat starts protecting before the first wash.
How it works for you
DROP-OFF, TIMING, AND PAYING
SAME WEEK, OFTEN SAME DAY
Because we are ten minutes away, a morning delivery in Sterling can turn into an afternoon drop at 4215 Walney Rd, and a full front is finished the next day. Give us the delivery date and time and we will hold the slot that fits.
DEALER ADD-ONS, EXPLAINED PLAINLY
The protection package in a Sterling finance office might be a sealant, a windshield treatment, or a partial film applied by an outside vendor, and the warranty paperwork tells you which. There is nothing wrong with asking. Our install is STEK DYNOshield, computer-cut for the exact year and trim, edges wrapped, never cut on the car, with a 12-year manufacturer warranty.
HOW YOU PAY
A 20% deposit reserves the install and is fully refundable; it is applied to the total at pickup. You settle the balance after walking the car under our lights, and Klarna, Afterpay, and Affirm are there if you would rather not pay it all at once right after buying a car.

Where Rock Chips Actually Land
A walk through the body shop showing why the hood, fenders, bumper, and headlights take the hits, and why full front PPF covers exactly those panels.
Can You Spot the PPF?
Two cars, both filmed. A proper install is wrapped under the hood edges and tucked into the bumper, so there is no line to find.
Questions
DULLES AND STERLING DEALERS PPF QUESTIONS
Often, yes, because the drive is ten minutes. If your delivery is in the morning, tell us the time and we will try to take the car that afternoon. If it is late in the day, bring it the next morning at 9 AM and the full front is done by late afternoon.
Tesla paint is soft and thin, and the delivery center is a few minutes from us, so Teslas are the most common new car in our bay. Film is cut around every camera and sensor, and Autopilot is unaffected. Full front is a one-day install, and most Tesla owners add a ceramic coating on the second day.
Say you have a specialist appointment booked and ask them to leave the car unprotected: no sealant, no dealer-applied film, and ideally no brush wash before delivery. Ask them to leave the front plate bracket off so we can film the bumper first. If they push the package, ask for the warranty terms in writing and compare.
Sometimes it is a film, sometimes it is not, and the warranty document is how you tell. Even when it is film, the questions are which brand, whether it is computer-cut for your trim, whether the edges are wrapped, and who you call in year six. We answer all four the same way for every car: STEK DYNOshield, yes, yes, and us.
Yes. We remove the transport protection and any dealer decals, strip the adhesive residue, and do the decontamination wash and alcohol wipe before any film goes on. The only thing we ask is that the car not be run through a brush wash first, because that adds swirls we would then have to polish out.

"Great people to deal with. Owner was very transparent with all their services and they offer payment plans. I got the front half of my car PPF'd and back half ceramic coated (one of the packages they offered) and has been raining for a few days on an off. You cant even tell it rained. The PPF and ceramic coat works as intended."
