Why this coverage
WHY FULL FRONT PPF + CERAMIC COATING FITS THE BMW Z4 M40I 2026
The Z4's long hood is the biggest single painted surface on the car and it faces the road at a shallow angle, so gravel skips across it and leaves chips from the nose to the windshield. The low front bumper with its wide M intakes takes the rest. Full front covers the entire hood, both fenders, the bumper, mirrors, and headlights with the edges wrapped so nothing shows on a panel this visible. The self-healing top coat keeps the hood free of the light swirls that show on a roadster you look down on every time you get in. The ceramic coating over the film and body keeps the car glossy with the top down all summer.
HOW THE INSTALL WENT
- 01Two-bucket wash, iron decontamination, and clay bar so nothing is trapped under the film.
- 02Computer-cut STEK patterns for the BMW Z4 M40i 2026, with edges wrapped or tucked where the panel allows so there is no visible edge.
- 03Wet install, squeegee-out, and a heat set on every edge so the film stays put through Virginia summers and car washes.
- 04Panel wipe and ceramic coating applied to the film and the paint, then cured indoors before the car goes home.
- 05Final inspection under our lights, aftercare walkthrough, and warranty registration.
Questions
BMW Z4 M40I 2026 FAQ
The whole hood. Full front uses a single piece for the hood so there is no film line across a panel you see every time you sit in the car.
Full front PPF is a one-day install. Adding a ceramic coating means a full paint decontamination and cure time, so plan on two days for the BMW Z4 M40i 2026. We confirm the schedule when you book.
We install STEK paint protection film with a 12-year manufacturer warranty against yellowing, cracking, peeling, and bubbling. The top coat self-heals light scratches with heat from the sun or warm water.
